Bringing Healing, Wholeness and Freedom

Children's Work

smudge-chalk-kids001 (1)We want the kids to feel so part of the church that they call it their church, we want them to have great fun, make friends, learn more about Jesus and have opportunities to meet with Him.  Our heart for the children's work to be so fun and so great that adults would want to go to join them!

How do we do this?
Creche (6 months to 3 years).
We don't currently don't have a creche however we love kids and are super relaxed about noise so there is a place at the back with toys where kids can express themselves and parents can relax as long as the child is supervised. When more little one join we would be more than happy to facilitate this.  You are more than welcome to come in and out of the meeting room with your little one during the meeting and the preach but if you would prefer a separate space there are also toys provided in the children's work room.

Reception-year 6
Here at Storehouse Church we love kids and love to share Gods love with them. We usually start off with the church worshipping God and having some fun and then we go into our group. We have tons of fun learning about God and Bible studies while playing games, dancing and doing crafts. We don't just want to teach them Bible stories as we want them to have the opportunity to encounter God for themselves and build their own relationship with Him. Each week is different but it’s always lots of fun and lots of opportunities for the children to grow in their faith. Activities can range from prayer walking around Winsford to playing games.

As part of helping kids feel part of the church and grow in their confidence and relationship with God they get to lead a main meeting at least once a term.  The kids get to lead worship stand out the front to inspire the rest of church to worship and come up with some great ideas for rest of the meeting.  These meetings are loved by the kids and rest of the church.

Our aim is to make sure every child can be themselves in a safe and welcoming environment and our children's workers are appointed through our safe guarding producers, including receiving safeguarding training.
